Generally speaking, poker is a game where a group of people play around an oval or circular table to produce the best hand. The best hand is the one that wins the pot. The most important poker hand is the flop. This is the highest card in the hand. If a player has a pair, he or she will be compared with the best of the rest, or the pair of jacks. In some versions of poker, the jack of diamonds can be the second highest card in the hand.
